Operation Uniquely Linked Breastfeeding Foundation was founded by Rakelia Pearson, BSN, RN, IBCLC, a veteran and the spouse of a veteran who served our country for 22 years. Having been deeply rooted in the military community, Rakelia knows firsthand the unique challenges that military families face, especially when it comes to breastfeeding and the lack of accessible support.

Rakelia’s own journey with breastfeeding was marked by struggle and the absence of resources that could have made a world of difference. Like many military families, she found herself far from home, without the network of support that so many take for granted. It was through these experiences that the vision for Operation Uniquely Linked was born.

Driven by a deep passion to ensure that no military family has to face these challenges alone, Rakelia established this foundation. Our mission is to provide the compassionate, comprehensive breastfeeding support and education that military families deserve. We understand the unique circumstances of military life and are here to help guide and support families through their beautiful yet sometimes challenging lactation journey.

At Operation Uniquely Linked, we believe that every family, regardless of their circumstances, deserves access to the resources and support they need for a successful breastfeeding experience. Our foundation is a reflection of Rakelia’s commitment to making a difference, born out of her own experiences and driven by a desire to support her military community.
